RULES AND GUIDELINES

At CSPCMUN 2019, the Secretariat wants to ensure every delegate has an enriching and enjoyable experience at the model. Which is why all delegates must remember the following:

 

  • Delegates, Staff and Secretariat must be respectful to each other at all times.

  • Avoid the use of spanish, personal pronouns, and establishing direct conversations at the sessions.

  • Remain quiet while others are stating their point and respect their opinions.

  • Delegates must respect the assigned schedule.

  • Delegates must follow the dress code.

  • Materials and equipment inside the facilities should be left without any kind of damage.

  • Delegates should only be in designated areas.

  • The use of electronic devices is forbidden during the model.

  • Delegates may no eat, drink or chew gum at the sessions.

 

Also, having a good preparation for the simulation is essential to benefit from the experience, as well as others. Which is why the Secretariat would like to advice you the following:

  • Research deeply enough about the topics and country for every delegate to truly understand what the debate would be about.

  • Bring an extra paper with more information about the solutions stated in th position paper. This may include NGOs in the country and worldwide, treaties signed, laws, strategies and campaigns that exist to deals with the issue addressed.

  • Have a good use of the notebooks and post-it notes, for instance, take notes of other delegates’ arguments and position towards the topic.

  • Enjoy your time at the CSPCMUN 2019, it would be a great time to practice your skills and interact with others.
